I am a mixed media artist living on San Juan Island in the Pacific Northwest. I create one-of-a-kind sculptures utilizing many materials, including  papier mache, papier clay, textiles, beads, precious stones, and found objects. I paint in both acrylic and oils.

My favored subject matter is inspired by wildlife. Their vulnerability, beauty, and majesty spark my imagination, and then I slip into the mythic landscape of archetype and metaphor. In this specific world, my creations live together in a harmonious and  peaceful land of their own.
