Enamel jewelry and housewares, Paintings, Textiles, Prints
495 Treeline Drive
With a foundation in illustration and a degree in enameling, her work seamlessly bridges the gap between fine art and craft, painting and jewelry.
Her work is informed by the art of Gustav Klimt, Paul Klee, Hilma af Klint, and the quilts of Gees Bend. Inspired by her natural surroundings and with Scandinavian sensibilities, she finds pleasure in the nuance of line, the juxtaposition of shapes, and unexpected color relationships.
"I rarely begin with a sketch or idea of what the finished piece will be and instead give in completely to the colors and shapes that flow from within. My favorite and most successful works often come easily and take me by surprise."
Brilliantly using color to interplay between dynamic pairings of natural forms, she offers each viewer their own private moment of inspiration.
Throughout her myriad of artistic endeavors, her aim is simple at its core: to spark joy!
