“Like a moth drawn to the light” – a metaphor for the way I am attracted to color and the way light plays upon it in my artwork. The challenge: Striving to create depth and translucency without compromising the spirit of the medium or subject matter.

The subjects in both my ART GLASS and ENCAUSTIC PAINTING continues to delve on natural elements found in spirit of nature … trees, rocks, pebbles, water, sea, sun and sky, and their transitions, both in a visual macro and micro realm. I continue to work in this arena with the desire of communicating a new visual awareness and sensibility. My hope is that the “voice” of glass, wax, and nature will speak to you through my work.
