Matthew and Danielle have been living and working on San Juan Island since 2003. Their studio is located just outside of town on Argyle Avenue, across from the fair grounds.

Self-taught Sculptor Matthew Gray Palmer has developed his work into a unique combination of realism, abstraction and expressionism that explore his diverse interests from natural history to spirituality. Matthew is represented by several galleries in the Northwest and has many public and private commissions throughout the country.

Danielle Dean Palmer uses a blend of old and new image making techniques to reveal a personal vision of nature in its most elemental form. Danielle has a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and has also studied at the School of Lorenzo De’ Medici in Italy.
