Jason and Danielle Napier have been building a rooted and respected presence in the arts on San Juan Island since 1994 and their future continues to unfold. For nearly 10 years, they had the privilege of owning a successful sculpture gallery in the historic Churchill Square building and gaining many wonderful relationships with residents and tourists alike. After acquiring 8 beautiful acres in Roche Harbor, the Napiers decided to change direction and pursue a more intimate studio environment that they now share with their friends and patrons.

Jason Napier combines a passion for wildlife with an extensive background in the bronze industry, creating a collection of fine art that breathes life. His whimsical sculptures bring smiles to viewers while impressive birds and powerful animals elicit a sense of awe. Jason strives to make an impact with each piece. Exaggerated lines, smooth surfaces and curved shapes, illuminate a new path depicting the incredible beauty of the natural world. Each patina finish is painstakingly developed to reflect the animal’s individual character. With these inherent trademarks, Jason finds a harmony that is unparalleled in the field of contemporary wildlife art.

The challenge of working in bronze is a driving force for Jason and continues to be his medium of choice because of its strength, permanence and ability to produce color. In each creation, it is Jason’s goat that his expression of form and his portrayal of feeling evoke emotion in all of us. His work can be found in numerous galleries, public venues and prestigious fine art exhibitions nationwide.
